Tutuoring
MEChA de UCLA provides tutoring and college preparatory services every Wednesday from 4:00-6:00pm at the PYFC. Workshops are provided on study skills, time management, and how to access financial aid. Contact the Center for more information.

Music Studio
The music facilities of the PYFC offer a fully digital production environment consisting of a Pro Tools recording system, Korg Triton keyboard, and Akai MPC1000. The studio also includes an isolated sound booth for recording vocals. Students learn the skills needed to create and record their own music, from beat making to rhyme slaying. Studio supervisors Spontaneous and Sam Justice oversee the program and assist in training youth in the art of studio production techniques. Whether it's learning a new secret Pro Tools programming trick from Sam or soaking in one of Spon's mind boggling flows, the PYFC music program provides an invaluable service to local youth. Classes meet Monday, Thursday and Friday 4:00-7:00pm.

Yoga Classes
Yoga is a science of health. Teachings of Yoga are based on an understanding of the healthy functioning of the human body and mind. For more information, contact the center.

Counseling, Case Management and Support Groups
Through a partnership with St. John's Child and Family Development Center, participants have access to individual and family counseling services. Counseling, support groups and culturally relevant healing practices provide youth and families the tools to communicate more effectively, manage anger, and improve relationships.For information, contact the center.

Jobs
The PYFC partners with community agencies to provide job development and employment services. Participants receive services in the areas of resume development, applications, and interview techniques. For information, contact the center at (310) 396-7101.

Leadserhip Training and Youth Council
The PYFC provides youth the opportunity to acquire leadership skills by organizing informative community workshops, a youth conference, and community improvement projects. Youth Council is held every Tuesday from 4:00-5:30pm.

Computer Training and Website Design
The PYFC has computers available for the youth to work on research and complete school assignments. Twice a week, a computer technician is available to help youth with their questions and to teach a website design class. The PYFC website is a result of this class.Computers are available during Center hours. The Website Design Class is held every Monday and Wednesday from 4:00-5:30pm.
